June Pop Sugar Must Have Box Review

Of course, i had to share my Pop Sugar Must Have Box for June with you guys!

Order yours at this link: POP SUGAR and use code: MUSTHAVE5 to save $5 off of your 1st order.

Pop Sugar is $39.95 a month, and is delivered to your house monthly via USPS.
It comes in a really pretty pink box with fun sayings on it, and I feel like it is Christmas every time I get it in the mail. I cannot wait to open it, and I love waiting for the surprise of seeing what is inside.
I know some reviewers or bloggers post spoilers on the internet, but I really try to avoid them because I love the element of surprise and I want to experience the unboxing for myself. It is the little things that bring excitement to your day sometimes, right?

The theme of this box was "Summer Festivities", so it included fun things that you can use for summer outings:

The box had about $120 worth of stuff inside, including these items:
  • Celebrity Trivia Game
  • White & Black Printed Sarong
  • Pacifica Underarm Deodorant Wipes
  • NCLA Born on the 4th Nail Polish
  • Siracha flavored "Pressels"
  • CHEERS gold bottle opener
  • Red Mirror Makeup Compact
My faves were the sarong, the gold bottle opener, and the deodorant wipes. I can wear the sarong as a swim coverup, or even a scarf; the bottle opener is useful and just super cute to use as decor on my coffee table or at my bar area in my home; and the deodorant wipes are new and intriguing to me - the packaging is pretty and this seems like something cool to take camping or keep in the car for a road trip.

The game I may keep in our RV for summer camping trip fun, the Pressels go to my boyfriend because I am gluten free and not a fan of super spicy, the compact is cute for the car or travel, and I may give the nail polish to one of my girl besties in time for the 4th of July because I have one similar already!

Remember, get your box for July at this link: POP SUGAR and use code: MUSTHAVE5 to save $5 off of your 1st order.

What do you think of this month's box?
What other subscription boxes do you recommend and why?

XOXO,
Gretchen

Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette

I love my new Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette!!
Worth the wait - she's so pretty! And by she, I mean Jacyln AND the palette!

I am such a fan of her YouTube channel, her Snapchat - everything Jaclyn.
She just seems so down to earth to me, like a hard worker, and a fun girl's girl.
I love this product, I know she was proud of it, and besides supporting her, I just really had to own it! The packaging is beautiful too. I just want to leave it, and its box on my dresser and admire their beauty.

It is still available on Sephora.com or in Sephora stores for only $52 - so if you have not purchased it, don't wait untill it is too late! She had an early release that sold out so fast that I had to wait for the regular one.   Click here to go straight to the palette. It is a $136 value - it has 3 blushes and 2 highlighters. I already owned the Champagne Pop Pressed Shimmering Skin Perfector from Sephora.com, which itself is $34 - so the entire palette is an amazing deal.

The Perfecting Brush by Becca looks beautiful for highlighting, it is $49 on Sephora.com and definitely on my wish list! The brush I used below is a Wet N Wild blush brush from Walmart.com.
You can see all of the Wet N Wild brushes on their website here - they are priced between $0.99 and $3 guys. They are really pretty because they are white, and the tips are pink. They are awesome quality and you can buy them at Walgreens as well.

I hope you enjoy this post, I love this palette like I said - and I cannot wait to create some fun makeup looks with it! Let me know if you get it or try it! I would love to hear what you think.

XOXO,
Gretchen

June Empties!

I have empties for June! I have been so good lately about using products up! I had a bunch for May, that you can check out HERE - and now, I have over 10 already for June!

Some products take us forever to empty out, and some we go through over and over and we have no problem using them up!

Check out mine below and let me know if you love any of these or have used up anything interesting this spring so far!

  1. Downy Wrinkle Release Spray - I keep a bottle of this spray in the laundry room and in the closet. It is AMAZING for loosening the wrinkles in a clothing item that has some creases in it. It runs about $6-8, you can get it usually at Target or Walmart, sometimes the drugstore. And, the scent is really nice.
  2. Estée Lauder Time Zone Night Repair Serum - This can run up to $92, but it often comes in the free gifts when I buy my favorite Time Zone AM & PM creams. This is the sample size shown. I promise you t is AMAZING, Macy's has an incredible free gift right now that I really want, and Ebates offers 6% cash back right now!
  3. Dove Body Wash Cool Moisture Cucumber & Green Tea - Is and has been a staple in my shower for so long. I love the scent, I use it to scrub my entire body with a loofah, and I can sometimes find a coupon in the Sunday paper to get a discount from CVS or RiteAid for it. It lasts a long time and is really moisturizing.
  4. Crabtree & Evelyn Island Night India Hicks Lotion - This is an old product that I kept in a guest bathroom, but purchased at the Crabtree store at South Coast Plaza a while back. The smell is really strong, but amazing. It is not your every day lotion, but makes an awesome guest lotion, or for a gift basket!
  5. Boscia Cleansing Oil Gel - James purchased this for me from either Sephora or Amazon. Oil cleansing seems to be all the rage lately and I would definitely purchase this again! It removes makeup wonderfully.
  6. Clean & Clear Makeup Dissolving Foaming Cleanser - This is my favorite face cleaner of all time, but I cannot find it in stores anymore. I usually order in bulk from the internet wherever I can find it. I keep a bottle in the bath, one in the shower, and one at my sink. It is just gentle and removes makeup SO easily. I use it on my face cleaner sponges and my Clarisonic.
  7. Love Spell Spray by Victoria's Secret - This was an old spray from VS, that smells SO romantic and sexy! The packaging on thir website is updated.
  8. Garnier Fructis Hairspray - This hairspray costs around $3-5 and smells good and holds well. It has anti-frizz and I would definitely repurchase this.
  9. Spray Powder Shampoo - This is a good dry shampoo that is easy to find at most drugstores or Target or Walmart, and I like it because you can also get it in colors like blonde or brown. I am a dry shampoo junkie, so I have more to try before I repurchase this one.
  10. Country Chic Body Lotion from Bath & Body Works is one of my favorite scents from BBW. I like this in the lotion and the spray. It is actually on sale right now on the site for 60% off, so go get some! It has such a fun country fresh scent that I love.
  11. Pink Sugar Deodorant Spray  - This is a deodorant spray that is supposed to keep you smelling fresh. I love this brand in the perfumes, and I think I got this in a set. I would repurchase. The scent is cotton candy and vanillas and is so delicious!!
That was a lot of products! I hope you enjoyed my June Empties Haul! I think I am already on my way to a July post! Let me know if you have any questions and let me know what products you ran out of this month!!

XOXO,
GretchCannon
