Chobani Greek Yogurt Flips and Bites - Review & Giveaway!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week!
Wanna hear about Chobani? Do you love Greek Yogurt?
I do, I do! I hope you enjoy my review below.
Enter to win some free yogurt at the end of the review!

I was fortunate enough to be able to sample of all of the Flips and Bites flavors recently - check out my deliciously stocked fridge in the photo below! I had tried the Key Lime Flips and LOVED it. So, I was excited to try out all of these other fun flavors as well.

I read the Chobani story on their website, and loved it. Check it out - right now, they are the #1 yogurt in America!

Chobani was founded on the belief that people have great taste. They just need great options. That’s why we started Chobani back in 2005 — to make high-quality, great tasting yogurt made with only natural ingredients available to the masses. Sure, a lot has changed since then. We’ve grown from five employees to almost 2,000 strong. We started out with one truck of milk a day and now use over four million pounds daily. And, our products are now available nationwide as well as in Australia and the UK. But, there are some things that will never change like our unwavering commitment to producing the best-tasting, highest quality products and being nothing but good to our fans, employees, local communities and health professional friends. Without you, none of our successes would have been possible. We can’t thank you enough for your support!

And, not as publicized, they are givers too! Their Shepherd's Gift Foundation gives back to tons of different charities. I love that.

The foundation gives 10% of Chobani profits annually to a variety of causes, all of which are working to make the world a more positive place while having a generous spirit. Because that's what shepherds do.

And, what makes Chobani so special & delicious?
We believe that yogurt should be simple. It’s been made the same way for thousands of years, and who are we to change it? That’s why we use just milk and cultures to make the yogurt in our products and then authentically strain it so that it’s deliciously thick and creamy:
  • Only natural ingredients. No preservatives. No artificial flavors.
  • Includes 5 live & active cultures, including 3 probiotics.
  • Made with real fruit.
  • Two times more protein per serving than regular yogurt.
  • Free of gelatin and other animal-based thickeners.

Check out all of their products here - http://chobani.com/products/. They have tons of different lines of yogurt - Fruit on the Bottom (I love good ole' banana and also strawberry), Blended (I have not tried these, but coconut sounds divine!), Bites, Flips, Champions (perfect for kids!), Tubes, and Multi-Packs. I think that they really have something for everyone!

I was able to try out the Flips and the Bites from my friends over at Chobani. Since I was already and still am head over heels for the Flips.. (I flip for Flips! lol) - I will start there.

What started it all - Key Lime Crumble. A delicious 180 calorie snack of key lime yogurt, graham cracker crumbles, and white chocolate pieces. I like to stir up the yogurt so it is nice and creamy, then fold over the toppings and then stir them in. This one is like a dessert - almost like a pie, because of the graham cracker crumbled up crust taste. I had 1 other favorite as you will see below, but this one is still my #1. I give it a 10 out of 10. Maybe an 11. I am loyal to this baby right now.

Honey Bee Nana is 130 calories, and is a rich and creamy yogurt, with honey and banana topping.
I give this one a 7.5 out of 10. I am not usually a fan of honey in yogurt, but it was pretty tasty when paired with a banana. I would like to see this one with some type of crunchy texture added. I felt like that made each of the flavors more interesting!

Strawberry Sunrise is 160 calories, and I give it a 7 out of 10. Good for breakfast, good for a snack. It is strawberry yogurt with honey oats to mix in. Nothing fancy, but a good basic combo!

Ok. Wait. Some Key Lime competition. I waited too long to try this one! It didn't sound like anything special, but let me tell ya. It is amaze. Raspberry Choco Fix. Only 150 calories, and tastes like a decadent dessert. It is vanilla yogurt with little bits of real chocolate and raspberries in a sauce to mix in. It reminds me of a chocolate raspberry sauce type of dessert you would order at a steak restaurant. I give it a 10.

Vanilla Golden Crunch (not pictured) - 150 cals of Vanilla yogurt, with honey oats, natural cornflakes, and praline pecans. I gave it an 8.5 - I really liked it for breakfast - like a creamy yummy cereal. The praline pecans were a really yummy touch.

Almond Coco Loco (not pictured) - This one has a little bit higher calories than the others - 230, but still good for a yummy snack. I wish they were all the same calories, just for calorie counting purposes, but at least they tried all of these flavors and mixes, and are honest about what goes in each one! This one is coconut yogurt (YUM), with toasted almonds and dark chocolate chips in it. I haven't tried freezing any of the Chobanis, but this one sounds like it might be a fun one to try. I give it a 9.5 out of 10.

And, since I tried my Flips, I noticed these flavors also on the site, that all sound really good too - Blueberry Power (with walnuts, hemp seeds and chia!), Nutty for Nana (banana yogurt, with nuts and chocolate - sounds Buh-na-nas!), Peachy Pistachio (peach yogurt with pistachios and dark chocolate - interesting!), and Tropical Escape (pineapple coconut yogurt with hazelnuts, coconut and granola - this sounds amazing!!!).

Now - on to the Bites! All of the bites are 3.5oz and 100 calories. I like that - a great bedtime snack, or topping for your fruit, or just quick sweet tooth remedy. 3-4 spoonfuls is perfect.

Raspberry with Dark Chocolate Chips - 8.5 of 10. I liked this one, but didn't care for some of the raspberry seed type of pieces. I do always love raspberry and chocolate together though - so this one was good. AND - my non-yogurt eating boyfriend tried this one and then he ate another one! haha. I would say that he liked it!

Fig with Orange Zest - This was not my favorite - 4 of 10. I didn't think it was sweet enough for me, and I didn't like chewing the zest. Some people LOVE fig though, and I would never buy it, so it was fun to try!

Coffee with Dark Chocolate Chips - 7.5 and yummy for breakfast. I mean - coffee and dark chocolate are 2 of my favorite things in the world! It was kind of weird having a light tan or brown colored yogurt, but it got 10 of 10 from my Dad! I gave him a sample to try and he said he thought this was creamy and rich, and super delicious! And, he is not a yogurt guy usually either! Way to sell the men, Chobani!

Caramel with Pineapple Chunks - 10 from me, 10 from my boyfriend. I didn't expect this combo to even taste right, but I was wrong! This one is creamy and tastes like a dessert and is so delicious!! Can you believe you get 8 grams of protein packed in here too? Win win all around! I can't get enough of this one!

They also have 2 other flavors I didn't get to try - Honey Ginger (I am not a big ginger fan, but I would definitely try it), and Mint with Dark Chocolate Chips (this sounds like it would be fun to try frozen too! and it is my boyfriend's favorite ice cream flavor!).

I love how they try so many fun flavors. Some other ones I saw online that sound really yummy to me are: Fruit on the Bottom Passion Fruit and Vanilla Chocolate Chunk Champions. NOW - if I were the flavor maker in charge... I would love to whip up some type of Cinnamon Graham Cracker flavor, and some type of Peanut Butter flavor (duh!)! I love those flavors. But, Chobani is doing a great job, and like I said in the beginning of this review - I really feel like they have something for everyone! Imagine having a job as their taste tester? Fun!

Check out this link to get coupons & find Chobani in a store near you here - http://chobani.com/coupons/. I have seen "Cho" in my local stores - Target, Wal-mart, the grocery store, etc. They seem to be pretty easy to find - as long as someone hasn't swiped your favorite flavor up before you get there!

I hope you enjoyed the review. I enjoyed tasting for you. I like to think of myself as a team player. Now that you have some feedback from me and how I feel about these yummy yogurts, why not try and win some free yogurt for you and your friends and family?! Enter below to win!
